From the Executive Director

The Newton Housing Authority has a 50-year tradition of providing a high standard of affordable housing to its diverse population of more than 1300 residents. We are the largest provider of affordable housing in the City of Newton.

With our more than 1030 units of Federal, State, and managed portfolio of properties, we span nearly every Ward within the City.

Our attention to detail goes well beyond merely caring for our physical buildings. It is the people who reside in our developments that are the real reasons why we exist.

While providing safe, clean, and affordable homes, we also continue to offer a menu of social service programs to our elderly residents, families, and residents with disabilities. We endeavor to create a sense of community and to enhance our resident’s quality of life with caring and dignity.
